Project of the month October: Celebrating 150 years of Brenntag

Brenntag, the global market leader in the distribution of chemicals and ingredients, celebrated its 150th anniversary in Essen, where the DAX 40 company has its headquarters. Numerous guests from the chemical industry, customers, suppliers and other business partners as well as guests of honor such as German Chancellor Olaf Scholz attended the ceremony in the Grand Hall at Zollverein.

In his speech and in conversation with Brenntag CEO Christian Kohlpaintner, the Federal Chancellor emphasized the importance as well as the requirements of the chemical industry and highlighted Brenntag's success story.

Brenntag's anniversary celebrations culminated with the ceremony in the Grand Hall of the Zollverein Coal Mine Industrial Complex with around 400 guests and an entertaining program that took guests through the 150-year history of Brenntag.
