In addition to a visit to the Ruhr Museum, we have other exciting options for organizing supporting programmes for your events at the Zollverein site. For example, there is currently a photo exhibition by the renowned photographer Thomas Stachelhaus, who has captured the unmistakable atmosphere of the world's most beautiful colliery in his 65 large-format photographs.

Coking plant tours with an Essen original

If you would prefer to do something outdoors with your supporting program, we would like to recommend our coking plant tours with Peter Iwinski. The Essen Steiger original put our compressor hall into operation in its original function in 1961 and worked there until it was shut down in 1993.
