Shopping greener, eating greener, anything goes. But organizing greener?!?

More and more companies are asking: What about sustainability when we invite to the company event?

Shopping greener, eating greener, living greener, it's all possible. But can you also plan and execute entire events green? "Yes," says Daniel Kölle, sustainability officer at the Grand Hall ZOLLVEREIN in Essen, "however, we have to be that honest, we can only ever act as ecologically and economically as the general conditions allow." The historic industrial hall Grand Hall, which was converted into an event location in 2017, stands for the careful use of resources from the very beginning with its building concept: energy-saving illuminants, intelligent water and heating systems and a 100% supply of green electricity. In addition, the ecological footprint is reduced through special travel management and cooperation with permanent, regionally based partners, adds Mareike Kuntke, sales manager of the Grand Hall. "In this way, we are meeting our customers' desire for an environmentally conscious approach."
